Text Box: HOLLANDIA (ALSO KNOWN AS DARWIN) Large, true pink blooms, slight fragrance. Free flowering Hollandia is what you would imagine a lily bloom to l look like if you had never seen one growing in a water garden. It is the most publicized lily bloom and is used in most ads, art work or programs about water lilies. Here in Colorado this lily blooms from spring to late fall, it is what I call a non stop bloomer!! Leaves topside are olive green and underside green. Med leaf spread 4 to 6 ft when planted in a 2 to 3 gallon container. Marliac rhizome This hardy lily is a perennial plant and will go dormant in the winter, and will winter over in zone 4 and above if planted where the root ball doesn’t freeze.
