The colors get more intense by the 3rd or 4th day. The blooms are held slightly above the water. Flowers are stellate shaped. Medium leaf spread 4-6ft. when planted in a 2-3 gallon with clay type soil. This hardy lily is a perennial plant and will go dormant in the winter, and will winter over in zone 4 and above if planted where the root ball doesn’t freeze.
